Discover their stories and experience

Moi Yamoyam

Swim Coach, Philippines

With over a decade of experience as a full-time triathlon & swim coach, and as a former member of the national triathlon team, I have had the chance to try various devices, but SONR stands out for its stability and clarity underwater. SONR allows me to provide real-time, effective coaching to swimmers of all levels.

I think the compact and efficient design of the device ensures that swimmers can focus on their performance. It enhances the overall user experience and also demonstrates a thoughtful approach to meeting the specific needs of swimmers in active training scenarios.

Wojciech Głyk

Poland national swimming champion

Wojciech was a national swimming champion in Poland. Now he is a PhD student and a swimming coach.

This year, together with his swimmer, they won the World Championships in winter swimming for 250 and 1000 meters freestyle. They also set two world and Guinness records at the same time.

Recently, Wojciech with his competitor also set a Guinness record in the Ice Mile category.

SONR has been a big help to him at the pool. It helps Wojciech fix mistakes right away and give timing information to swimmers even while they're swimming, which makes training faster.

Bassetlaw Swim Squad

The performance swimming squad of Bassetlaw

Introducing Bassetlaw Swim Squad, the performance swimming squad of Bassetlaw. Led by Head Coach Michael Glossop and his accomplished team, BSS has propelled swimmers to national and international levels. They also hold a track record of coaching finalists at British Championships and leading prestigious swimming camps.

SONR has proven to be an invaluable tool for the swimmers of Bassetlaw Swim Squad.

In Michael’s words : “SONR’s waterproof, lightweight design offers a seamless and comfortable experience for swimmers, helping them concentrate on their performance and stroke efficiency rather than struggling with uncomfortable equipment.’’

Riccardo Galesso

Extreme Sports Athlete

Meet Riccardo Galesso, a fearless 20-year-old athlete who loves extreme challenges. At 19, he finished Ironman with only a month of training, swimming 700 extra meters.

He accomplished a staggering 77 km run in 48 hours, 4 miles every 4 hours.

Recently, Riccardo used SONR to enhance his swimming for a challenge around the island of Elba, showing that with hard work and innovative tools, amazing feats are possible.

Yash Daryanani

Swimming clinics owner

Yash Daryanani owns a company that hosts swimming clinics in Suriname and around the world. He has been coaching for 22 years and was present at the Olympics in 2016 and 2021.

Using SONR was quite different for him. In his own words, “SONR changes things because swimmers can now hear us, and we can watch them improve their strokes while they swim. I had to get used to this new technology and the fact that swimmers could hear us as if we were right next to them."

Dimitris Spanoudis

Swimming teacher

Dmitris has been teaching physical education and coaching swimming for over a decade. He has experience working with swimmers of all ages and has helped more than 200 clients over the years.

“SONR just makes my lessons much more efficient. Coaching with real-time feedback saves so much time and effort for my clients. Everything is so easy to use and my clients enjoy hearing me perfectly clear, and correcting them on the go.’’

Thiago Vinhas

Swimming coach and multi-medalist

Thiago is a swimming coach and a multi-medalist in the World Master Championship (2014/2017). He is also a big fan of SONR technology.

“It's great for group training, one-on-one coaching, and open water swimming. SONR helps swimmers learn faster with clear and immediate feedback.

It provides instant feedback so we can adjust our pace, technique, and strokes right away.

It's also fantastic for personal training clients, making one-on-one sessions even better. I definitely recommend it to all coaches and teachers.”
